Ginger, originating from the Indo-Malayan region, is now widely spread in the tropical regions of Asia, Africa, America, and Australia. It is a plant that produces one of the most famous spice in the world. It is widely used in various fields, ranging from medicine, confectionery, brewing to the perfume industry.
As one of the main spice ingredients, ginger had its influence on the history of the world. The desire to import these luxury goods without intermediaries pushed Europeans into the era of geographic discoveries. Will our ginger root extract also influence the course of history? We do not know that yet.
Extracts from ginger root contain numerous volatile compounds that exhibit high antioxidant activity. The components of these extracts can regulate the motility of the digestive tract and have analgesic, calming, antipyretic, and antibacterial properties.
Among the main components of the oil obtained from ginger root, we can distinguish zingerone, gingerol, paradol, β-pellandrene, curcumen, cineole, geranyl acetate, terpineol. In addition, ginger extracts have been found to contain a number of antioxidant components, such as phenolic compounds (such as 6-gingerol and 6-shogaol), alanine, and vitamin C.
We offer water, water-glycerin, and water-glycol extracts.
